The FIBRA First International Buggy Rollin Association pursues the following goal (s):

• Promote and defend the practice of BUGGY ROLLIN (armor equipped with wheels) in the world, especially as leisure, sport, and sport of high level, means of locomotion, art of living and philosophy.

The Logo

FIBRA First International Buggy Rollin Association logo description and meaning.

The logo is formed by five Rollermen equipped with BUGGY ROLLIN armor converging at one point. This symbolizes the meeting, the cohesion, the fraternal agreement. All together forming a star that represents the lucky star, the destiny, the guide in the sky, as a landmark in difficult times, the strength to be together to accomplish something greater than individual, while maintaining the importance of each. The different colors represent the five continents, in reference to the Olympic symbol, as well as the cultural diversity that forms the richness of mankind. The logo was approved by the founders of the FIBRA in January 2019.

And it has all the features of a perfect BUGGY ROLLIN suit. Comfortable, versatile, with a woman version, precise ready to set records.

We got picture for the second time with KiKi Lebe. We chose the brand new bibliotheque for landscape, and with Virgine Alventosa. She was the embodiment of perfect woman with pure orange hair, a body of athlete who use to run 400m, the mind of tasty artist who became architect, and a heart of white laser light. she was the muse of the life of Jean Yves. These times flew away like a blink. She was wonderfull.With KiKi, we also went near place de Clichy during the night. Climbing on the pedestal with the wheels was very sketchy.
The helmet came from Boeri who was the first to produce metal chrome helmet. Jean Yves was still using his own asymmetrical quad skate. But soon he was going to change for Salomon inline skate.

Rollerman first race in bob track ever

That was the year of the first race in bob track in La Plagne.

World Premiere

That is the place where Rollerman first runs in Bob Track with Carbone BUGGY ROLLIN armor. This was very scary because it is almost impossible to brake. Thanks a well balanced BUGGY ROLLIN, and a fit body it was possible to learn fast and progress efficiently. Even for the first time it was difficult to get the records of time.

Few weeks later was also the Ride Line of Tignes. There was the brand new carbon prototype, with perfect purple wheels. The helmet was also very comfortable, and carrying a cosmonaut identity.

That year the car had been stolen in july at Lyon with all the suits, the drawings, the skates. That has slow down the project a lot. the summer was a complete waste.

Pink years of the beginning of Rollerman

Best cooperation

Pink years was the period of the first shooting with Christophe Lebedinsky, KiKi LeBe. We got friend instantly. And we never stopped work together. This was a command for the magazin VSD.

Paris life

I was living in Paris. There are more pictures. But at this time we were using film and no computer datas. So i do not have all pictures yet. It was the time of first pink prototype. it gave the name of Pink years.

We had our first experimentation at studio Michel Blondeau. It was so hard to stand under the warm light that the water was dropping out of arms and legs. If you watch the pictures you will be able to see the water drop making mark on the yellow paper floor. we had to replace it.

We also made our first artistic photo with Gilles Poyet future studio Poyet at Chambery France. we used the historical scenery of old middle age town. the clash between antique stones and futuristic armor works very well. That’s why we used also this place to make our very first video and first TV Canal Plus came here.

1996 1997 was crazy years for newspaper. BUGGY ROLLIN could make around the globe on paper with parution in major countries. The final point was the invitation by FUJI TV in Japan for “Naruhodo the world”.

BUGGY ROLLIN was on ISPO Munich 2018

At ISPO Munich 2018 we displayed five suits,

1. woman suit with Guillou S size setting
2. Black Black suit
3. BUGGY SKI suit
4. BUGGY ICE suit
5. The famous 9 DRAGON suit

During the five days fo the show, Jean Yves Blondeau exposed his suits. He was making performances and demonstrations each time someone would ask him. Situated near the wave inside the Longboard embassy village, it was in the heart of a dynamic place on the show. We received many contacts and interests but still now nothing really happen. We are sure that we had more sport creation than in any other stand on the fair.

Rollerman experiences BUGGY ROLLIN in Japan 2005

This photos of BUGGY ROLLIN in Japan 2005 were taken in Shinjuku, Hakihabara, Ginza, Ueno park and Yokohama, by Korean Photographer “Sweet Satang” with the Kin Nam Hoon Team. We used Silver suit. Jean Yves Blondeau was the model and pilot. Japanese people keep asking who are you ? the answer should be ROLLERMAN ! But at this time we did not use this name. It came from journalists and from crowd. One of the best memory was to dance with the dragon in china town of Yokohama, and meeting maids in Ginza.
